Botanical Medicine

Plants can contain powerful medicine. In fact, many pharmaceutical drugs are based are natural substances.

While plant medicine is generally safer than pharmaceuticals, it is safest when administered by a physician trained in the use of these plants with clinical knowledge of indications, contraindications, and interactions with anything else you may be taking.

Botanical medicine can be administered as a tincture, as a tea, in capsules, and sometimes topically. Often times we are able prescribe the method of administration based on patient preference.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

HBOT is the medical use of oxygen in a pressurized environment. The increased pressure allows oxygen to dissolve and saturate more effectively in the blood system, primarily the plasma (independent of hemoglobin). The increased oxygen results in a wide variety of positive physiological, biochemical, and cellular effects.

Multiple dives are needed to see the full effect of HBOT. The number of dives is variable. There is no set protocol, but rather it is based on the patient's condition, patient response, and clinical experience.

Call us today to see if HBOT is right for you.

SAFETY

HBOT is exceptionally safe, particularly when applied at lower pressures and following proper guidelines. Oxygen toxicity and adverse reactions are rare and pertain more to clinical use in hospitals where patients receive higher dosages of oxygen at higher pressures for acute and life-threatening conditions. When applied at lower pressure for chronic conditions, the safety record has been impeccable.

Constitutional Hydrotherapy

The healing properties of water are endless. Constitutional hydrotherapy is a treatment that is used to improve recovery from both acute and chronic illnesses. It improves circulation, soothes the nervous system, stimulates the digestive system to improve eliminative functions as well as healing of the digestive system, can improve neuropathy, and stimulates the immune system.

It combines the use of hot and cold towels and the application of electrical stimulation. Total treatment time is one hour.

BioMat

The biomat is a an infrared and negative ion emitting pad that lies on a massage table. It supports the immune system, helps reduce inflammation, increases blood flow, increases tissue oxygenation, promotes relaxation and restful sleep, and accelerates healing processes.

It offers the benefits of sauna without the need to heat the head and without the EMFs often found in traditional saunas. Custom temperature regulation allows variations from no heat to 158F and is thus ideal for those who are heat sensitive and can't use a traditional sauna.

Environmental Medicine

Environmental medicine focuses on the cause of disease from an environmental perspective. Simply living on our planet results in exposure to many substances that can cause us harm including chemicals, pesticides, heavy metals, molds, and electromagnetic radiation, to name a few. Sadly, it's not just pollution that can harm us, but deliberate exposures such as fluoride in our drinking water.

We are all burdened to some extent by environmental toxins. It is when the burden exceeds the body's ability to effectively deal with the toxins that symptoms develop.

Labs

We offer a cash program for labs for those without insurance coverage or those who choose not to run labs through insurance. This is usually significantly less than if the lab billed you directly. Rates are available upon request.

We also offer an extensive number of specialty labs all designed to help us find the root cause of your illness.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a form of medicine based on the rule of nature called the Law of Similars - that "like cures like."  Each homeopathic remedy, as they are called, are made of minute doses of natural substances.

A remedy that causes illness in a healthy person can cure a sick person with those same symptoms. The physician must take great care to match the right remedy to the patient to achieve the greatest success.

Travel Assistance

Traveling is hard work. Traveling with a chronic illness is even harder. We have attempted to make a visit to the clinic as easy as possible for you.

For local patients or those driving in from out of the area, the clinic is easily accessible from all parts of town.

If you will be flying in, hotel accommodations are available minutes from the airport in downtown Billings and within easy walking distance to restaurants. Downtown hotels will shuttle patients to and from the clinic. A vehicle is not needed.
